REVELATION SERIES CONTINUES
 This Sunday, we will study the next two ways to look at the book of
Revelation. We will look at the familiar future approach to this
prophetic book and examine a common look at its early
history application. With both, we will ask how Jesus' first coming at
Christmas relates to his second coming someday. We will also share
communion together and prepare for the celebration of Christmas. In Sunday's bulletin, we'll provide a list of books that can help you learn more about the book of Revelation. You may also want to consult one of these web sites. |

 CHRISTMAS CAROLING: Tuesday (12/22), 6:30 P.M. We'll meet at the church and then carol in nearby neighborhoods. Contact Alicia Hemphill for details (aliciah@evergreench.org) MERRY CHRISTMAS PARTY: Thursday, (12/24), NOON-3:00 P.M. Join us in Moore Square for a joyous celebration! We'll fellowship with those who have nobody in their lives. We will also give out donated items (if you have donations, please leave them in the "Merry Christmas Party" box at the Greenhouse). CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES

 CHILDREN'S SERVICE, 4:00 P.M. This service is designed for children and their families. The theme will be "A Recipe for Happiness." Join us for music and fun as we help children understand the meaning of Christmas. CANDLELIGHT SERVICE, 7:00 P.M. Join us as we celebrate Christ's birth in traditional fashion with
carols, scriptures, and stories. We will focus on how Jesus comes to
us, amidst all the changes in our lives, as one who brings peace and
assurance as we face all that lies ahead. |

PROJECT HELPING FRIENDS
|
The Poole family will now be coordinating the PB&J project. Please bring donations of peanut butter, jelly, packaged crackers, bottled water, bread, sandwich bags, paper lunch bags, travel-size toiletries, hand sanitizer, socks, gently used tennis shoes/boots, or adult bicycles in good working order and put them in the "Helping Friends" box at the Greenhouse. We will hand out bags this Sunday from 2-4, Dec. 24 from noon-3, and Dec. 27 after church. If you'd like to help, talk to Thomas, Melissa, or Tiffani ( mythreets@gmail.com or 844-2162). |

 FATHER, We ask that you provide safety for friends and family who will be traveling this week, especially where there is winter weather. As we prepare for Christmas, help us be generous and kind. Provide for us times of quiet and reflection among the noise and chaos. May we make our decorations and carols be joyous displays of praise to you! AMEN | |
