The Leadership Team.

Ed & Tammi Palpant first came to North Carolina in 1985. Evergreen marks a return to the area and a desire to bring many others together who might be new to Raleigh as well. Ed's desire is to lead others along the journey of faith and to teach the truths of scripture as a guide. Tammi's love for children and 15 years experience as an elementary teacher makes Evergreen a fun and challenging place for all ages.
Todd & Vanessa Baughman are new to the south. They come with a strong desire to draw out people's own stories and to develop community that connects people together in a safe environment. Todd makes Evergreen a great place to get to know people and Vanessa's ability to make anyone feel at home offers an atmosphere of comfort and ease.
Matt & Karen Brown come from a Catholic background and bring insight to our spiritual leadership through their love of Jesus and the rich history of the traditional church. They are passionate about knowing Jesus instead of religion and helping others seek him in authentic ways. They are the parents of four children and work full time as a computer programmer (Matt) and an educator/writer (Karen)
Neal & Brenda Farrand come from an evangelical background and bring to our leadership a deep love for the intimate relationship God wants to have with each of us. They are both gifted at organizing and maintaining the structural needs of Evergreen including all our finances, our web presence, and our membership. They are the parents of three sons and work full time as a computer programmer and Mom.
Jeff & Alicia Hemphill came to the Raleigh area recently and immediately knew that Evergreen was the home for them. Their passionate desire to follow Christ at whatever cost makes them great leaders in God's kingdom. They lead Evergreen in the areas of spiritual growth and outreach. Their two children, Emily and Jacob, keep them busy at all other times.
