Charles & Annette Newkirk lead the music at Evergreen. Charles is a 2002 graduate of NC Central University with a degree in music. He is a passionate guitar player and arranger. But he is also proficient at keyboards and bass. He desires to train up musicians to use and develop their skills for the Kingdom of God. Annette is a 1995 graduate of Fayetteville State College in Political Science. She works in the governors office but her real passion is leading people into an experience with God through singing. She leads our vocalists and shares her love for singing with anyone who wants to sing along.

Evergreen's Children's Ministry Leadership Team is a group of adults who are passionate about helping children discover God and his plan for their lives. Each week, this creative team organizes stories, crafts, events, and service opportunities for our children. They love kids of all ages and are committed to helping Evergreen reach out to the community to those of elementary age or younger.

Other teams help make each Sunday morning a challenging and enjoyable time for those who attend. Set-up and tear-down teams take care of moving in and out of the theatre each week. Our Worship Management team makes sure everything flows smoothly each Sunday. And our Connect Team helps those who are new to Evergreen get to know others and find their place.
